PEOPLE & PLACES / HAMAKAZE NO IE
A place to play.
A place to belong.
Hamakaze no Ie brought care, creativity and community together for children affected by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake. It reflects Acube’s experience of bringing people and resources together around a shared purpose.

Care through everyday experiences.
Built with donations on land provided by Hyogo Prefecture, the loghouse offered children a welcoming space to play safely, release stress, learn and make friends.
Hassan Toorabally was involved from the project’s inception, and Acube’s management work connected the daily running of the facility with a broad programme of activities.

A SHARED COMMITMENT
People make
a place matter.
Acube’s work spans more than products and technology. Managing a community institution means coordinating people, maintaining a welcoming environment and making meaningful activities possible.
That practical experience continues to inform the way we approach projects: listen to the people involved, bring complementary skills together and make the result useful in everyday life.
